However I found it even low gain for a Plexi sound. I ran pedals with that model, and it was superb. Probably the best pedal platform I've ever used.

The Custom is HSS, with a DSV in the bridge and V60LP's neck and middle. The Pro is SSS V60LP's. The Custom's bridge bucker is wired to a push pull pot that puts the pickup in parallel rather than series. I end up using the parallel bridge pickup a LOT. Makes the guitar closer to a Tele, IMHO.
