So, I have two Prairie Blue Bell Eggers that I got from RK, who gets their chicks from Hoover's. One lays a blue egg but i was bummed to have the other lay a blue-green egg So I think on here and on a blog from Silver Homestead that although rare, they can when they first start laying have a brownish overlay that makes the egg look greenish. And that it can take 10 eggs before the bloom is clear.
