When reboot started I did solo progression cause that's the only choice we had. I cubed up pensalir gear till I had around 1m range and found a party with people with similar stats to take down 3 doors. Then cubed that stuff and did hmag and cvel with parties till I got that gear. Totally possible. You can do it with Necro as well as pensalir.
Let's see how they feel afterwards when they hit what is effectively a wall. They basically know nothing about progression (shown by having no idea how droprate on familiars/gear works relative to meso bags) And 'needing' a Kanna farmer is called out on Reboot now as generally bad advice to the majority of players.In my opinion here, you have two options: start training your main which is Phantom (great link skill too) , or, you can train to 120 some more link skills that'll get you easy time leveling later on: Luminous (ignore enemy def), Demon Avenger (%dmg), Demon Slayer (%boss dmg), and then start train your main. You can make meso a lot quicker in reboot for star forcing, and cubing to legendary/good lines is a lot cheaper. One of the few areas where reg server still leads in my eyes is arcane armor, which can be bought for 1.5b clean from the auction house.

You could add the Zakum leveling strategy for 60-100. It's where you stack all the exp boost you can get (rune, coupons, etc. ) and beat the boss' arms at lvl 90+ to gain a huge amount of exp.
