Is tradovate a good broker.
I don’t know if 100 is enough but some futures brokers let you trade with a very small amount in your account. You need decent credit, though, because they’re letting you do it on margin. You also need to subscribe to data which will add to the cost. Maybe charting, too, if you want good charting.

Tradovate here, very good for order execution, but I don’t like their charts. And ffs I wish they’d make the cursor crosshairs disappear when the cursor leaves the chart. But I also have a hundred bucks in a TDA account so I can use ToS for charting, plus I can use their free version of Bookmap for a better DOM for ES and MES.

There's a day margin in Futures and a Maintenance margin. You need the maintenance margin if you're holding the contract when the futures markets are closed. That's how it is on Tradovate, other brokers might vary on the hours.
