Eleonora's Poleblade has multiple unique attacks, innate bleed, lower weight, etc. Perhaps they are correct that the peeler is overall better, but. The poleblade still has unique qualities of its own that you might prefer, and might be particularly effective against certain enemies.
I am wondering to either use Vyke's Spear for a madness build or Eleonora's Poleblade because both of them look fun. I am leaning more towards the poleblade because of bleed procs being super good in PvP and PvE but I wonder how good it is against the average player in the 100+ bracket and how good it is in PvE compared to other blood builds.I thought Eleonora's Poleblade was a no-brainer for a DEX / ARC build, but I've heard some debate over the subject. Mate, anything is a good idea, just try it. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad idea. If you have high arcane, it isn't bad. There are better options though. Imo, yes. The primary strength of Eleonora’s is the weapon art (if you can call it a strength at all, it’s kind of clunky), so there isn’t a lot of benefit to running a second.
