You can also open the bleeder screw -- to let any air out. It is a black PLASTIC screw next to the primer pump. Be caredul tightening it back up --it can break. P0045 code. I got a P0045 CODE on my 2004.5. Truck is all stock. Where is the turbo vane position sensor at, and also where is the solenoid? Thanks. On the top of your turbo there will be a little cord coming out, the base of it is wrapped in tinfoil for heat, follow the wire and it will lead back to a plug. Hey all, I got a buddy with an 04.5lly having a no start with this code. Truck runs a 50hp tow tune and is basically stock otherwise. He said it started having a high and low idle. then he shut it off. It sat overnight and will not restart now.
