Been awhile since I have posted on this forum, Well long story short I have had nothing but a nightmare of a time with this 2017 Gmc Denali L5P I have the issues with the dash and radio freezing and Just turning off completely...Having some issues with my 2017 l5p. Have been getting the p0191 code for the last year and a half. Very intermittent sometimes it’ll go into engine reduced power 5 times in a 20 minute drive and other times it won’t at all. Have changed the fuel pressure sensor and pigtail. Which did fix it for a couple thousand miles.Jan 2, 2018 · My son's L5P is having fuel delivery issues and the (lift) pump by the fuel tank is whining like crazy when the temp is 15 degrees or colder . The L5P has almost a second faster 0-60 time than the same LML on paper. As I said, I had a 13 LML stock, and now have a 18 L5P, both were bought brand new, and the L5P is much quicker!! Not even close! The LML is 397/765 in power, the L5P is 445/910.

Easy enough, but for anyone doing it, don’t take the shield with the housing. All you need to do are the two 13mm bolts at the back, top/side. You’ll understand when you look at it.

It gets 30mpg on the highway at 65mph so I guess if it regens for 7% of the time then it will probably drop to 27 to 28 mpg. Seems drop down to like 22 to 24 mpg when it’s regenerating on the highway.The ECM uses the following criteria to perform a regeneration: Vehicle in Drive. BARO sensor 1 is more than 51 kPa (7.4 PSI) Engine speed between 500 and 4000 RPM. Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1 between 100 and 725 C. I had set the trip odometer the day I bought it and it's averaging almost 17, including some mild camper towing. Tank to tank I'm seeing better than 18 with regens.

Mileage improved a little and I have never reset my 2nd mileage meter which reads 16.2 mpg for the average life of the truck with say 55% city and 35% highway and 10% towing.1493 posts · Joined 2020. #7 · Apr 23, 2022. Map sensor is on top of the intake plenum, top of the engine. Lift pump is in the tank. If you have a cts3 or derringer check your lift pump pressure while driving. The frp sensor is underneath the passenger side cold air tube from the intercooler.
Dec 31, 2023 · 2021 GMC 3500 SLE 27k miles. Not sure I should feel happy it was under warranty but originally took the truck into GMC dealer for what sounded like a boost leak. No codes, no other symptoms other than using 7 gallons of DEF in 2800 miles. Which seems excessive for not towing. Hold the brake add trottle and can hear loud hiss.
