To be fair, I've only played the MXR in a loud room and I own Tim,Timmy V2 and Timmy V3. I like the Tim best, and the V3 second best-it's smoother in high gain mode and pretty spot on to the original in low gain mode. The MXR sounded the same, but not quite as smooth or as flexible. The '54 is going to a round and full NoCaster style neck. The biggest of the Strat reissues. The 10/56 is a V to C profile and I don't believe it's on every single '56 style guitar, so be careful. In the 1st mode, it captures some of that faster/snappier VH plate reverb effect. This is exactly my one main takeaway from the Golden Reverberator.
