Day 4: Leave for Anguilla (I guess this would need two ferries with Saint Maarten as the hop) Day 5: Stay in Anguilla. Day 6: Return to Saint Maarten. Day 7: Return to US.

It has big condo buildings yet feels empty and struggling. Mainly, I guess, the beach is not great so no one visits from elsewhere and most people staying there head out each day. To be fair, the beach might rate a 6 or 7, but St Martin has so many 10 point beaches of different flavors that it suffers by comparison.

Jill (the local on-island agent) and Gordon (the unit propety manager) are terrific, easy to work with, and accommodating.If you send via mail it may never get here. If the recipient has a forwarding address in Miami (we do) it is fed xed to SXM a couple times a week. VERY expensive to receive anything that doesn't fit in an envelope. Other choice is to ship sea cargo. Cheaper than above and you can pay carrier charges in advance.

We currently use Claude at Discount Car Rental St Martin and his rental prices include full insurance (theft, CDW, LDW, and third-party liability). That's all great but we need to check out of our apartment at 10:00am on departure day and the flight is not until 17:00 from SXM. In 2022 the airport was still in the throes of redevelopment work so does anybody know if there is a left luggage facility at sxm or even if the business lounge is open? Any help is much appreciated.
