I’ve seen NinjaTrader, Tradovate (which I’m using now), Lightspeed(which I used for stocks), Interactice Brokers, and a couple others I forgot. I’m looking for an optimal broker package, preferably one with incredible charting but it’s okay if the charting isn’t that great because I use Esignal mostly for charting.Tradovate's platform is decent and free but then you're tied to using tradovate as a broker. It’s the tradovate merge or whatevr you want to call it issue, this was to be expected imho ( I’ve had both forever) Also I beta tested the NT / and Tradovate setup. Just growing pains but obviously sucks if you got twisted up somehow. Every broker will have a similar issue at some point. Anyone who disagrees isn’t on daily or is lying.
The futures commissions on tda are nasty indeed. ~$5 per contract round trip. Terrible.
