I have and understand how ro run the espar bunk heater but can't for the life of me keep the bunk air vents on while in optimized idle. So I called the dealer...and they said 90% of trucks have this default setting...and the reason there's no mention of it is because companies opposed it ...It worked good last half of summer. It really only cools the sleeper. When the batteries get down to 12.1 volts the engine will start and recharge the batteries when your sleeping. I get about 6 hours before a recharge. During a 34 hour restart it not perfect because it's more for cooling the sleeper.
