Not really sure what to make of it - looks like horsehide as opposed to sheepskin. Zippers on the pants can be dated to around the late 1930s, if I’m not mistaken. Sep 13, 2018 · At the present time all of the parts are at the shop and we are awaiting our new batch of Horsehide from the tanners. Once it arrives, we will be making our prototype and then moving on to our pre-order jackets once all the details are nailed down. The Horsehide we are working on will be a light russet, 1.2-1.3 mm thick with some nice grain to it. Aug 9, 2021. #2. CWU-45 would be more comfy and their pockets are more practical than the CVC's. Both are very resistant but the shiny material of the CWU tends to snag easier than the material of the CVC. Still, I would choose the CWU over the CVC any day, looks way cooler. CWU-45.

The jacket fits me well the leather graining is good as is the construction .If you want to help me out give me a partial refund so I can have it fixed locally new eyelets and a buckle and you will close the issue with a satisfied customer .Were not talking a lot just enough to cover the cost of repairs locally.

Sleeves are long, but this is Cockpit's signature styling on all their jackets: longer sleeves, shorter body. This is the updated version, with the separated leather at the base of the zip/ waistband, where previously this was all one piece. A long-overdue upgrade I'd say.
