Commander Ashoka Tano will be heading to a new Event called "Proving Grounds.". This Event will have a monthly cadence and will allow you to earn her shards for FREE, so long as you have the prerequisite to enter. Once you obtain the unit at 7* or have enough shards to 7* the unit, they will no longer be accessible.
Padme of CLS can do the older ones but for Malgus the only non GL team that really works is Sith trio, Malak and Talon. Padme/CLS can do the easiest events. I've tried Rey, SLKR and JMK (no ult) on the more recent events the last time PG rolled round. For me, Rey is the easiest to complete any given PG with.Rey/Ben, UFU Cal, Sortie who VIP's Ben, and for you - JTR. People won't say she's the best 5th but since you don't want to use L3 and you want the best Zorii team, JTR needs a home. Just did this in less than 10 mins with Thrawn R6, Piett R8, Tarkin R5, ShoreT R5, and RG R5. Just keep cleansing with Thrawn, healing with RG and ShoreT, use Piett's ambition and suborbital strike, and throwing dots and TM reduction from Tarkin. 3 stars. So in theory you can get up to 60 shards/event, but it's costly. Just use malak and jtr to remove taunt from reva and go full on turbo mode on grand inqusitor with slkr.
