Rob, welcome to Drive Accord! A few thoughts.... 1) When you open up the lines (replaced the pump) as you did, it could take a while to get all the air out. You may have to turn the wheel lock-to-lock 10 times over the course of a couple of days to get those air bubbles out. While doing, make sure you check the fluid level often.

If so then it is is probably engine related - power steering, alternator, etc. If it whines only when moving then it could be a wheel bearing or transmission related. I say power steering also. Especially for the age of your car. 2006 Accord EX I4, 2010 Accord EX-L V6, 2017 Accord Sport.
