But I'd expect the same accuracy and reliability as a standard Marlin 336. And those can vary. Some will keep 3 shots into 1", or very close to it, at 100 yards. Some will just barely keep 3 shots in 3". When they were sold they were significantly cheaper than a 336, but today there just doesn't seem to be too much difference in value.

I got it a few days ago and it came with a nice bushnell scope that I want to take off so I can use open sights for night time use. The problem? It doesent have the rear sight assembly.I shot this 100 yard group yesterday with my older Glenfield model 30GT. I'm sighted approximately 2.5 inches higher than point of aim. This is my zero for all deer hunting east and west. This Glenfield was built by Marlin with a couple economy features to sell at a lower price than Marlin 336 but accuracy is still quite good.The Glenfield Model 30A is not the Marlin Model 336, but in another sense, it is. I have a Marlin, Win And a Rem 788 30/30. When I Run Factory ammo over my Chrony they are all Close the Marlin is on average 30fps faster than the 94 the 788 with it's 22' Barrel is 30 fps faster than the 30 Glenfeild Marlin. But it ends with Factory ammo! the 788 is King with reloads, but it aint sexy like my old Glenfeild.
