Map setting is no pollution and humongous amount of resources. This is already the second game, the first one failed because of blue chip bottleneck.I can't seem to finish the game in speed run. currently doing the "no laser turrets" and the speed runs are the only two i have left. the one i'm proud of is doing the no robots, and also building no more than 111 items by hand on the same game. i think i tried the no lasers on this as well but half way through was flipping out about the flaws ... n_slash_a. • 3 yr. ago. 30-45 SPM is a good number. That is 1 science per cycle on an AM1 or AM2. Works good enough. My other advice is to buffer stuff. This is not recommended for normal play, since it hides bottlenecks. In the No Spoon case, you want to hide bottlenecks.

I had no boiler power scaling prepared for assembly 3, lines of electric furnaces, and speed/productivity module 1’s. Maybe the modules weren’t worth it. Definitely pulling around 80 MW ballpark at my end game.

Also, at that point, just find a save that wlll work. You can test out settings by starting the new map and checking the achievements UI on the top right side. If spoon is locked, you changed something you shouldn't have. I know you can disable expansion, and reduce pollution diffusion to 0 and still get no spoon.Pick a favorable map seed, you dont need to spawn enemies and you can turn up all resource values. You want a science ratio somewhere around 30-45 packs per minute, except red and green, get somewhere between 60 and 90 per minute of those. Purple and yellow science are incredibly expensive.I tried the island at 75% a couple of times but didn't like it. Iron and copper at maximum settings, coal and stone at 300% since you don't need those that much and maximize them would interfere with iron and copper. Uranium disabled. There's no need to maximize oil for a TNS run, so I left it at 400% and I still think it was overkill.Overally it is decent guide for "There is no spoon". The first two hours is the most important to get right. Keep multiple saves. (Spoon-1, Spoon-2, etc.) at regular time intervals so you can backtrack if things go sideways. Huge starting area (I didn't realize this), rich large resources. I also prefer a desert starting area. Chopping trees costs time.
