I've got Jen to 31 loyalty, let her inventory restock after that, and checked every tab in it and she does not have any mastery books for sale. Is there another step I'm missing?

I assume it would work, but the POIs would lack any custom blocks that DF may have added. I've no idea how that would affect play. I don't recall if one option is a better choice since you can use the notes to craft a mastery book, or use the same number of notes to craft 10 skill points. Some tips I can share: 1: All the time in the temperate/desert biomes keep an eye out for fruit trees and ground vegetables. You need to scrap schematics to get the notes. I believe 60 notes plus a few other items allows you to craft the class book. You will need to build a writing desk. You may find a blank class book while looting in which you can use to craft another class. #2.Just curious about some tips/tricks suggestions for starting Darkness Falls. I've started playing and played a good bit of the base game but I can't seem to survive through even the first night most of the time. When I finally did night two somehow brought a horde through my little hidey hole house.
