That’s called the CUE faceplate. Open the CUE faceplate and leave it up. Turn off the vehicle. Open the driver’s door and then leave it open for 30-60 seconds. Close the door and then start your Cadillac again. Let everything power up. Close the CUE faceplate. Now your CUE system should work again. It's most likely the root cause of the AC issue, or a faulty interconnect, -if you're lucky. Check all CUE-related fuses first. CUE is based on Linux and Linux system often becomes unresponsive when HDDs are experiencing troubles, constant resets etc. Nice Ride.
