Hi, I really want to do a full arabian playthrough. I have made a arabian girl (wich looks extremly cute tbh xD) and want to RP to become the new Sultana of the arabs. I really dig their armor, culture style, towns and turban helmets, so i want a full Aserai army only. Now i have tried to do that like 3 months ago , but the Aserai were very squishy back then.

I married Arwa and my brother married Abagai, so my clan has decent commanders to choose from. I'm allowed to recruit troops from both cultures, but I'm curious what people think would make the best army. I thought I'd make most of my infantry Aserai but they're dying like flies (especially the axemen).

Imperial Cataphracts are probably the best overall. I believe the Vlandians have slightly better stats but Cataphracts have better equipment and you also get the Buccelarii horse archers whereas Vlandians do not get horse archers.

There's about x3 Empire cities compared to all other cultures.
