Problems with 2008 cadillac cts.
I recently purchased a used 2008 CTS with 73k miles on it. It drives like a dream, but I seem to have a problem with the oil psi reading. When I start my car, the oil psi gauge will either go straight to 0 or 100. Occasionally, it will bounce around a little, but will shoot right back down to 0 or up to 100.

This is a convoluted situation; browsing this forum I've seen isolated incidents that seem to relate to my current issues, but not entirely.

Open the door in question and clean the rubber seal so there is 0 dirt on the seal. Do the same for the mating surface of the body. Once totally clean, make sure both the seal and the body are 100% dry. Now apply some vinyl dressing to the door seal. Let it soak in a little then reapply.
