I believe that since Dragon Breath is an innate skill it will auto scale with the DC you get from your class. Dragon form should work better for a Martial than caster I believe. Ranger offers the most Ashe things right out of the box - in fact, with a frost rune on the bow, we barely need to go into any archetypes. We will though, to make that icy magic extra icy. From the start, the Ranger class gives Ashe a "Volley" attack with Hunted Shot and a "Hawkshot" helper with a young bird companion.Ranger is nice, but I think investigator architype is a hat on a hat. Pursue a lead(+1) and hunt prey(+2) are both circumstance bonuses, so the dedication is a bit of a down grade. The architype feats just look like they clash, or are weaker than the ranger choices. The problem with builds like that is the rest of the party.
The Gunslinger is a weird, complicated class. It's a martial Striker which can branch out as a Face and Scout depending on your skills. But if you look at the Gunslinger and think "this is a fighter with guns (or crossbows, technically)", you're missing a lot of what makes the Gunslinger special. That said, you can still make dual wielding work on a swashbuckler. A rapier with a main gauche is a great combo. You can get panache, make a strike with your rapier, then finisher with your main gauche cause it's agile for basically free extra damage.
Use Braum's shield to force air forward, knocking back (and down) an enemy. Call on the chill of the Freljord to deter enemies with icy skin and claws. My Alchemist has Ranger dedication and Rogue dedication. Ranger gives hunt target (range), hunter's aim +2 circ bonus (effectively Master profiency at the cost of an action), and free Snares. Rogue gave me Poison Weapon-free d4 poison, and easier application for things like contact. The free d4 is just nice extra damage of a different type.

Some first thoughts: regalia thaum is now the best social build in the game right from level 1. archer dedication lets you take double shot + triple shot (at level 6) at which point you have a good chance of triggering weakness multiple times per turn. High feat tax though unless you're using free archetype.

A tanks focus more than anything is not being critically hit (because you are absolutely going up be hit) and offer some kind of reason for the enemy to not just ignore you.
