It's a 2011 LML diesel: 1. Turn on key, all the usual lights come on in the instrument panel. 2. Wait for the glow plug light to go out, during which most of the other lights also go out. No problem so far. 3. Only two lights remain on - the usual yellow engine light, plus the anti-theft light in red with a padlock. 4.duramax LML air leak on the fuel system.. will cause crank no start.. long cranks.. cold and hot no starts. My LML would pretty much instantly start within less than a second of cranking when not freezing cold. Finally got the truck to fire and run. it takes 20-30 pumps to get the primer firm. it has no visible leaks around it and all the lines from it. when the motor is cool it fires right up. after running for 5-10 minutes and shut it off, it will no start. i have no codes either. It will fire a few times but the just continue turning over with the starter. The cold side intake tube just before the butterfly is wet with what smells like fuel. Both brake lights dont work when the pedal was pushed. Service trailer brake system, stabilitrak, and parking assist messages come up. The truck ran fine last week after I changed out the tensioner. (p2294)- Fuel regulator 2 control circuit. (p0102) MAF sensor circuit low frequency. (p0087) Fuel Rail Low Pressure. (p128E) Fuel Rail Pressure Performance.
Remote and dash button cause the same start cycle. (dash button does not have to be held, just 'push and release') Both send a signal to the bcm/ecm, which manage the start cycle. If fuel is definitely going to the motor and it still wont start and stay running then you need to check rail pressure. Good scanners are not cheap.

Thanks, believe it or not I actually corrected them before even doing any cranking, I just happened to look down while rolling my engine crane over to my truck, and noticed the cam/crank sensors were in the wrong spots. The cam sensor is only used as a reference for the ECM so it knows which cylinder is at TDC. I would take a look at the crank sensor as well.
