How to get empowered gems in trove.
Cubic Curtain is a universal Empowered Gem ability that works with any class. This ability gives players a yellow-cubic-shield which will alow the player to avoid the next incoming attack. Any incoming attack (if the shield is active) will absorb damage done as well as stun the attacker. It will regenerate after 5 seconds, in which it will show the cubic shield once again.

That should net you anywhere from 1-3 empowered gem boxes, too, depending on what classes and their PR. Higher than that has a greater chance. It depends on how many other people there are with the class at a higher PR. (More popular classes it's harder to get more than 3 boxes per week, other classes it's easier to do.)
