How much hp can a stock 4l80e handle.

I am looking to build my own 4L80e. I have not built one yet but have done a few th350 and th400's years ago. Anyhow what all aftermarket internal parts are recommended for building a 4l80e that can handle up to 800hp? I am aware of the different controllers and converters but i am unfamiliar with whats really needs to be beefed up internally ...

Alot of guys are usin this trans in high hp LSx builds. It does cost a few bills to get it right, but so does a lot of things.With slicks and 6000rpm launches, probably 350-400hp tops. Street tires, normal driving, occasional trip to the drag strip (without the 6000rpm launches), they'll hold up to over 400hp no problem. From my (limited) experience, it's not continuous load that breaks parts, it's shockload on the launch or on very hard shifts. Theoretically the A8 is rated at over 700 lb-ft (HP is calculated, Torque is what the parts are rated for) but the Z06 has different internals and additional cooling so I doubt the A8 version delivered on the Stingray can withstand as much.
