You can probably cut 30+ hours off that if you just want to get 100% and don't care about platinum requirements that don't help with completion. Mahjong seems to be the major stumbling block for Western players.

Not that difficult. It’s basically hard mode with no continues after dying so make sure to save a lot. I for one enjoyed redoing the entire game. From unlocking all the skills again to doing nightlife and money island again. It's pretty easy as long as you're decent with each style and rack up on healing items.
