On arrival, I shut off its motor. I refilled the tank in the 4 wheeler, and then refilled the jerry can, but now the 4 wheeler does not start. Didn't think much of it at the time, but since then it won't start. It turns over, I have spark and fuel to the spark plug. This was about 3 weeks ago.If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape. it just wont go into neutral. You could try to adjust the clutch free play. If that doesn't help, you have a problem with the shift linkage or the transmission, itself and you will have to tear it down to find the problem.Remove the spark plug and try cranking the engine over - you may have a failed fuel injector that filled the cylinder with raw fuel - if the injector fails to close completely, it will bleed fuel from the fuel rail and partially fill the cylinder raising the compression. Brother's new 99 400 will idle for 5-30 min then die suddenly. Replaced plug, cleaned air filter, verified fuel flow, and sprayed carb cleaner everywhere he could.
