I lacked the ability to test bursts on BLM solo, but on SCH I have noticed that magic bursts are doing insane damage. I tested on knotted roots (which resist earth damage iirc) just magic bursting stone and stone III. Stones initial damage was high 600s, MB was doing around 2200.
