G30sf- smaller diameter grip feels better in hand, slide is full thickness, still feels like a brick in your waistband. G30s-slide is approx same width as a doublestack 9, much more comfortable IWB, also used Smaller SF frame …the 30s is all win. if you're planning to carry it I would go w the 30s hands down. FYI the G41 and G21 frames are the same. the difference is in slide thickness. G21 has thick slide same thickness as a standard G30 G41 has a thin slide same thickness as a G30s also the "sf" frame designation is the same as the gen 4 without any backstraps.

Nov 9, 2010 · I now have the G30S that has become one of my primary carry guns, especially in cooler weather. The thinner slide does make a difference. If you have large hands, I use the 10 round mags for pinky support. As someone else said, the 30S has a short frame although I never noticed the difference.

I have been looking to add a Glock 45 to my stable of Glocks. I am having a very hard time deciding between the 30 and the 30S. I know the 30 is a sweet shooter in a small package, but it is fairly hefty. All that heft does absorb recoil though. The 30s is thinner in the slide and obviously a lighter gun.
