Trying defend an attack with a miner is a lost cause. Don't even bother trying it. If you REALLY want to mine ISO with a Meridian [which you should] you have to plan on watching it the whole time. The Meridian is NOT your typical set-it-and-forget-it miner. Any PvP crew that doesn't depend on ship abilities. In a typical 30 min takeover for 1* (and you must start with 1* for your first territory) that's 50 points for every ship in the territory. 60 players x 4 ships = 240 ships x 50 points = 12000 points. If you only have 30 players, your max points is 3600 points. This is without accounting for capture nodes, which score 3pts per min. Skip with 5 ship defense. Lorca will reduce enemy ship damage by 100% of base, as well as another chance at hull breach round one. TOS Spock will reduce opponent's critical damage, as long as you have moral proc from Kirk.
