The "legacy slide" on the P229 has a short extractor while more recent slides have the long extractor and full height cocking serrations. Both these slides fit on German made frames.In the USA, only the frame is required to have a number. I guess the 320 and pistols like it only have it on the chassis or whatever they call the metal part that rides inside the polymer. My 9MM TALO Classic Carry has a weight of 30.8 ozs., with empty magazine, on my digital scale.Threee of my SS 229's. The top is the one you are looking at on GB. Below is a mid-90's all stainless obtained by a lot of searching and luck. The 229 in the middle is a satin nickel. Also a pic of one of two 226 all stainless I have.
