They can change their name, but with the lock, can't change their color or features, which makes identifying an impersonator much easier. Rust has better building and more focus on base raiding. Dayz is deeper, has more mechanics, is harder and has more focus on survival.

If high replay value is a criteria for your games then DayZ will satisfy. It's ridiculous, there's something like 160+ square kilometers to explore.
