I'm trying to get the demo software for my 246T, When I go to Uniden's web site, I see the free E-Scanner™ Version 2.0, but it doesn't have the 246T listed as one of the scanners it works with. If you also want logging & virtual control ability, then you have to move to the "Pro" version, about $70. ProScan, @ $50, has all of the features of the ARC Pro version, but is $20 less, and also covers a number of other models. Both software packages do have free lifetime updates for improved operation, and sometimes added capability.
