How do you do a pokemon randomizer.
I’ve downloaded the executable JAR version but trying to launch it doesn’t work. I’m a major noob so any help or pointing in the right direction would be great. The randomizer uses Java, and that's gonna be a bit of a sticking point on the deck. I'm a programmer of some sort, I'll take a look when I'm home from work.
The universal randomizer should work on 'update' hacks like ultra violet as far as I'm aware, as long as the Pokédex is the same and only story/level curves are altered you should be good. I don't know many hacks similar off the top of my head though.PKHeX is a save editor, not a ROM editor. Randomized games are from edited ROMs, not edited saves. Additionally, PKHeX typically only works properly with mainline saves, not saves from ROM edited games. ability pills only change the mon's regular abilities NOT the hidden ability. ability pills DO NOT WORK in randomizers but DO WORK in standard modes. if you want a pokemon's other ability (in randomizer mode), you HAVE to catch another one and hope it has the other ability. Why? because the ability pill is bugged and does not work.
