Fioptics remote volume not working.

Hi, this AVR (Yamaha RX-V1400) got moved upstairs and for some reason the volume buttons on the remote RAV238 stopped sending to the AVR. Every other button I touch does send (the red light in the upper left shines when a key is pressed). Every other button works and functions fine when using remote on Scorpio console. Double checked all tv settings within the console and the TV is programmed correctly.
